Senior Software Developer

Location: Canada Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team of experts in Voice AI Agents. In this role, you’ll drive key architectural decisions, shape product features, and work directly with our founders to set the technical vision of our AI solutions for emergency services.  You'll be solving complex technical challenges at the intersection of real-time systems, voice processing, and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and iterate on novel real-time voice AI features, setting the standard for next-generation emergency communication tools
  • Contribute to the evolution of our architecture as we scale our systems to meet the security, scalability, and availability needs of our customers
  • Own the development of new features across our entire application stack, from backend services to frontend interfaces
  • Optimize audio processing algorithms for real-time performance in critical situations (including Speech-to-Text, Endpointing, Interruptions, Filtering, Emotion Detection, Text-to-Speech)
  • Integrate emerging technologies into our AI pipelines to improve our products
  • Future opportunities to mentor and lead as our team grows

Required Experience

  • Real-time or concurrent programming using Elixir, Go, or similar languages
  • PostgreSQL

  • Containerization (Docker or Kubernetes)
  • Cloud Hosting and DevOps (AWS or Azure)

Founding Account Executive

Location: Canada/US

Position Overview

We are seeking a Founding Account Executive to join our team of experts in Voice AI Agents. In this role, you’ll own the full sales cycle, drive pipeline growth, and collaborate with our founders to shape our go-to-market strategy. You’ll source new leads, build client relationships, and represent our company at industry events with support from Hyper’s CEO.

As a founding team member, you’ll develop sales strategies, lead impactful demos, and influence product direction while driving the adoption of our AI solutions for emergency services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Development:
    Source and qualify leads through research, outbound calls, and leveraging conferences and industry events to build a strong sales pipeline
  • End-to-End Sales Ownership:
    Manage the entire sales process from initial outreach to closing deals, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective clients
  • Sales Strategy Execution:
    Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets
  • Demo Leadership:
    Lead compelling product demonstrations and presentations that showcase the value of our AI solutions to potential clients
  • Collaboration with Founders and Teams:
    Work closely with the founders, product, and engineering teams to align client needs with our technical capabilities and product roadmap
  • Client Relationship Building:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor to understand and address their needs
  • Event Representation:
    Represent the company at industry events and conferences, actively engaging with potential clients to drive new business opportunities

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of software sales experience
  • Strong background in running complex, enterprise sales cycles
  • Proven ability to exceed sales quotas and drive significant revenue growth
  • Comfort with understanding and explaining technical products, particularly in industries like AI, SaaS or voice processing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an emphasis on pragmatic solutions that ensure a win/win situation for Hyper and its prospects
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively in a remote environment
  • Demonstrated adaptability and resilience for a dynamic startup environment
